Bachelors in Mechanical / Chemical / Petroleum and Gas Engineering with at least 02 – 03 years of experience in Operational / Process Industry. Candidate having working experience on SCADA / DCS / PLC will be preferred. The position is required for shift duties.

Responsibilities:

• Transmission Pipeline pressures monitoring on SCADA.
• The role requires a high-level attention to detail as well as the ability to react quickly.
• Responding to alarms and alerts generated by the system, investigating issues, and taking corrective action as needed.
• Communicating with field personnel and other members of the control room team to coordinate system maintenance, repairs, and other activities.
• Identifying opportunities for system improvements and working with other team members to implement changes.

The purpose of this position is to assist the Unit Head in ensuring controlled gas dispatch according to consumer/distribution requirements and support operating the LHF.

• Support implementation of daily operational plans for gas system and LHF maintenance.
• Coordinate with seniors on pipeline targets and conduct Control Room Management activities.
• Obtain transmission network parameters, calculate line pack transmission, and prepare daily reports on sales and purchase.
• Discuss daily supply strategies with seniors, considering pipeline pressure and volume forecasts.
• Maintain and monitor gas control system data, ensuring gas balance and demand forecasting.
• Monitor transmission system pressures at PODs, SMSs, and HQ compressors.
• Collect hourly data on flow, pressure, temperature, and LNG supply, supporting safe operations.
• Ensure gas delivery commitments per GSA contracts and report data accordingly.
• Provide technical support for budget preparation and allocations.
• Assist in implementing Gas System Emergency Operating Plans and generate reports.
• Adhere to risk management frameworks and participate in related activities.
• Identify, report, and manage key risks promptly.
• Undergo risk management training as required.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by senior management.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the installation, operations, and maintenance of gas quality measurement equipment for the determination of energy and to ascertain the quality parameters of gas.
2. Carry out inspection and preventive maintenance activities of Gas Quality Measurement equipment to ensure the smooth operation.
3. Ensure that issues including breakdown maintenance with respect to Gas Quality measurement equipment are adequately addressed.
4. Continuously monitor and undertake analysis of the gas quality received from gas producers and undertake relevant tests to verify the same.
5. Implement quality standards and quality control systems relating to gas quality measurement.
6. Check and maintain that all equipment is correctly calibrated for accurate measurement of the transmission gas.
7. Evaluate gas analysis results and identify anomalies along with suggested corrective actions.
8. Undertake the interval-based spot sampling and analysis of gas samples from various SMS locations to ensure accurate energy-based billing.
9. Inspect and indicate errors during Joint Meter Check (JMC) and troubleshoot gas quality transmission issues.
10. Coordinate with Planning & Procurement to plan and procure the necessary spares and equipment for the smooth gas quality measurement operations.
11. Monitor the verification and inspection process for procured spares and equipment.
12. Perform any other task as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
