Job Description
Provides a safe and secure environment for hospital patients, visitors, and employees by enforcing hospital security regulations and by continuously watching for and reporting potential safety hazards and unusual occurrences in a timely manner through patrol of assigned areas.
- Investigate complaints or potential criminal conduct; assist in restraining patients as necessary; provide protective services.

- Prepares and submits written reports in a complete and accurate manner; makes notations in log of all incidents; keeps Supervisor informed at all times.
- Maintains accountability for valuables/property and forms of evidence coming into incumbent's custody; ensures safekeeping; maintains documentation.
- Performs as Dispatcher utilizing "state of the art" integrated security systems; radio dispatches personnel to respond to occurrences and phone calls for assistance; provides and maintains documentation.
- Participates in assistance with workplace and domestic victims; responds to medical emergencies; when authorized assists in the restraint of patients; involved in the protection of dignitaries; controls pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

To ensure timely raising of Notifications for maintenance job if required in security and follow up on regular basis till its completion. To check and monitor patrolling squad at Plant regularly and to intimate Crises Management Committee about any mishap taken place in plant. Supervise/Control. Arrange proper uniforms of the Security/Janitorial and Horticulture Staff. To check and monitor wastewater disposal system and take corrective actions.
- Organizational Effectiveness & Development – Extend cooperation and ensure Security & Admin support in implementing structural improvements and functional reorganization to achieve business strategy and organization. Ingredion is looking for a motivated and dedicated Security & Admin Officer.
As a Security & Admin Officer , you will extend active support in designing and executing action plans against areas of improvements identified in audit observations/ for each year and build a timeline to achieve targets. Implement the action plan in smooth manner. supervise / control the security staff of Plant. Supervise / control office administration of related staff. Lead and supervise fire-fighting staff and monitor drills
Reports to Manager Admin & Security Services
What you will do:
- Administrative Initiative – Lead and supervise admin staff, fire-fighting staff, the Janitorial/Sanitation/Horticulture/Guarding Staff of the plant and monitor drills. To ensure timely raising of Notifications for maintenance job if required in security and follow up on regular basis till its completion. To check and monitor patrolling squad at Plant regularly and to intimate Crises Management Committee about any mishap taken place in plant. Supervise/Control. Arrange proper uniforms of the Security/Janitorial and Horticulture Staff. To check and monitor wastewater disposal system and take corrective actions.
- Organizational Effectiveness & Development – Extend cooperation and ensure Security & Admin support in implementing structural improvements and functional reorganization to achieve business strategy and organization. Work in close collaboration with Manager Admin Services & Security for talent development and talent retention.
- Security Operations – Work closely with Security & Admin staff to ensure timely delivery of security reports and to take action/resolve issues/queries etc. Ensure maximum participation in various Security and Admin assignments including to keep align skills and knowhow of security staff with new security technology and techniques to handle the untoward situation. Ensure prevent measure to control theft occurrence at plant. Make sure prevent measures against unlawful activities and theft incidents and control influence of notorious people surrounding of the Plant with the help of Shift Leader/Security Guards. Check and get maintenance of weapons on quarterly basis and arrange a weapon testing drill in his presence. Make sure that necessary professional and safety trainings are being conducted to improve professional skills and efficacy of Company security staff and 3-party contractor’s security staff. Check and verify/sign monthly wages bill of 3-Party Security Company. Extend cooperation and provide security and admin services to Warehouse, Quality Assurance team and Maize purchase dept during maize buying seasons (Summer & Winter). Arrange training session to enhance the awareness about security related matters and performance of the sections working under command. Perform any special duty assigned by the higher Management. Coordinate regarding IMS audits and documentations (Security Department). Make sure the availability and protocol to Company official/guests/ foreigner/ELT for safe movement etc. Check and sign the gate Logbooks/In out vehicles/Individual’s entries on daily basis. Check and sign SRMS/OGP/Weigh variation reports/Outward gate pass report on daily basis and ensure smooth flow of Sales/Maize/Purchase vehicles. Perform any special duty assigned by the higher Management.
- Administrative Control & Affairs – To supervise traffic arrangement at Plant. To take appropriate rounds on daily basis at Plant premises and check the logbooks placed at all gates of both premises and discuss with Manager Admin Services & Security/Plant Manager. To ensure and manage duty roaster to curtail Over Time working. Renewal of Company license like Arms/Sulphur/HCL or if any other from relevant department annually. Timely putt up 3-party agreement Security/CCTVE cameras to avoid any uncertain situation. Check and get maintenance of weapons on quarterly basis and arrange a weapon testing drill in his presence. Issue / check entry cards of the contract labor. Arrange for the proper uniforms
- Cultural Transformation – Represent Security & Admin department on various local, regional, and corporate platforms and act as liaison to ensure company values are well embed at Plant site.
What you will bring:
- Degree: F.A preferable Graduate
- Work experience: Ex-Army or Police Officer as Commanding Officer
- English fluency, both written and spoken
Who you are:
- Preferably - Training on counter terrorism from CTD - Punjab Police or Pak Army.
- Knowledge of Implementation & Monitoring of Integrated Management System.
