We are looking for an Strategic Finance Analyst (L8) to join our Finance team in Karachi . This is a high-impact, individual contributor role that supports financial planning, budgeting, and performance reporting for key lines of business. The role demands strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and attention to detail.

• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making
• Conduct variance analysis and deliver insights on business performance across metrics
• Partner with business and vertical finance teams to understand trends, risks, and opportunities in financial performance
• Support month-end closing activities and preparation of management reporting packs
• Assist in scenario planning and strategic modeling to inform leadership decisions

About the Role

As a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst, you will play a critical role within the Finance team, providing key support to the relevant stakeholders. This position involves close collaboration with various business units to analyze financial data, understand performance trends, and offer actionable insights. You'll be instrumental in planning and forecasting, identifying and addressing financial performance variances & supporting month-end closing activities.

What you'll do

Be a partner to the business across financial and commercial decisions. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards / reports. Analyze business performance and report any significant variances. Recommend operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance productivity. Build & maintain annual/quarterly/monthly budgets and forecasts. Conduct data analytics for ad hoc business cases and deep dives into operational and financial results. Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Redash, and SQL to create insightful reports that support business decisions. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate month-end book closure and financial reporting.

What you'll need

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees like MBA, ACCA, CA, or CFA strongly preferred. A minimum of 5 year of experience in finance, accounting, or related areas within Tech sector. Strong analytical skills and experience using BI and reporting tools. Excellent quantitative skills with the ability to solve complex problems. A high level of commercial acumen and business understanding. Strong drive to learn and grow. The Manager, FP&A will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, planning and financial analysis for The Children’s Place, with particular focus on Sourcing. Education and Experience:

• Strong leadership initiative in a matrix or flat organization
• Strong accounting knowledge base is strongly preferred

We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to play a critical role in driving financial insights, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making for the business.

As a key member of our finance team, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and the management to provide data-driven analysis and recommendations that will influence the company’s strategy.
