Overview:
To ensure implementation of Food Safety program on site as per PI guidelines provided through CRP standard. Develop site capability for Food Safety program through trainings, assessment and engagement of site team in Food Safety related activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure readiness of plant all the time for annual unannounced AIB Audit of facility
Ensure implementation of FSS 22000 program, PepsiCo Food Defense guidelines and crises management program
Coordinate different activities to engage management as well as plant team in site Food Safety program including site inspections and one on one as well as group meetings
Arrange chemical/microbiological sampling and testing of water, products and materials as per PI guidelines and ensure implementation of any required corrective action based on results
Effective involvement in all site maintenance activities, new projects to ensure on time risk assessment and actions plans for identified risks and training of contractors on-boarded for the execution of project
Ensure food safety risk assessments in MOC (Management of Change) system to ensure proactive approach to identify potential food safety risks associated.
Ensure availability of Food Safety related materials and chemicals, supervise their usage and application and ensure the expenditures within the planned budget
Conduct induction as well specialized trainings on Food Safety program to develop capability of teams in all functions
Lead site pest management program to ensure annual pest risk assessment conducted and action planning to close highlighted non-conformances as per AIB
Ensure to coordinate with PepsiCo approved sanitation suppliers (Diversey & Ecolab) for effective CIP and OPC of plant and ensure quarterly service audit report shared by supplier after fryer boil out.
