Overview
Job Title: Manager Administration (Factory). Location: Lahore. Department: Administration. Reports To: Factory Head / Director Operations.
Responsibilities- General Administration
- Manage day-to-day administrative operations of the factory.
- Ensure proper maintenance of office, factory buildings, and facilities (canteen, transport, sanitation, utilities).
- Oversee company vehicles, transport arrangements, and fuel management.
- Maintain discipline and enforce company rules & policies.
- Human Resource & Labour Management
- Monitor employee attendance, timekeeping, and leave records in coordination with HR.
- Handle employee grievances, welfare, and engagement activities.
- Ensure smooth relations with labour unions (if applicable).
- Coordinate hiring of support staff (security, housekeeping, drivers, helpers).
- Security & Safety
- Oversee security staff and surveillance systems (CCTV, access control).
- Ensure safety protocols and emergency preparedness at the factory.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies for safety & compliance.
- Compliance & Legal
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, EOBI, social security, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain records for inspections, audits, and certifications.
- Prepare documentation for government departments and external authorities.
- Procurement & Inventory (Non-Production)
- Manage purchase and stock of office supplies, uniforms, safety gear, and admin-related items.
- Negotiate with vendors for cost efficiency in administrative purchases.
- Facility & Support Services
- Supervise housekeeping, canteen services, and overall hygiene at the premises.
- Manage utilities (electricity, water, gas) and ensure uninterrupted services.
- Handle repair & maintenance contracts for factory infrastructure.
- Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare periodic reports on admin, security, and compliance matters.
- Coordinate with Head Office on budget, approvals, and administrative planning.
- Support management in audits, inspections, and certifications.
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in administration, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, factory compliance, and HSE standards.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and deal with multiple stakeholders.

Analyze operations to evaluate performance of a company and its staff in meeting objectives, and to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
Direct, plan, and implement policies, objectives, and activities of organizations or businesses to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, and to increase productivity.
Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding and implementation of programs.
Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products.
Negotiate or approve contracts and agreements with suppliers, distributors, federal and state agencies, and other organizational entities.
Review reports submitted by staff members to recommend approval or to suggest changes.
Appoint department heads or managers and assign or delegate responsibilities to them.
