Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager for a Furniture Factory to join our dynamic team. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our furniture manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of our products. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational, managerial, and technical skills.
Responsibilities- Production Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate with sales, design, and procurement teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Team Management and Supervision:
- Lead and motivate a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators.
- Set production targets, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain strict quality control measures throughout the production process.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any product defects or customer complaints.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Introduce new technologies and techniques to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
- Budgeting and Cost Management:
- Develop production budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and implement measures to optimize resource allocation.
- Manage inventory levels and materials procurement to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the furniture manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of furniture production processes, materials, and operation of machinery.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound understanding of quality control principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools for production planning and tracking.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Manage utilities (electricity, water, gas) and ensure uninterrupted services.
- Handle repair & maintenance contracts for factory infrastructure.
