2. Scheduling all routine and outage mechanical maintenance activities.
3. Keeping maintenance records for routine and outage maintenance.
4. Guiding mechanical maintenance staff to diagnose and rectify mechanical faults.
5. Ensuring observance of safety measures and taking actions to prevent emergencies and avoid breakdown of supply.
6. Coordinating with operation and electrical departments for smooth running and maximum availability of the plant.
7. Maintaining discipline by ensuring punctuality of the workers and observance of rules.
