We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Planning & Coordination Officer to support strategic planning, project coordination, and timely reporting across departments. This role is critical for aligning business activities with organizational goals and ensuring smooth execution of ongoing and upcoming initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed project plans in coordination with technical and operational teams, ensuring clear timelines, resource allocation, and milestones.
• Prepare Project Charters outlining objectives, scope, deliverables, stakeholders, timelines, and budgeting framework.
• Create and maintain monthly and quarterly budgets, aligned with project and departmental plans.
• Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual spending with planned budgets and identifying key deviations.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel to prepare dynamic reporting sheets, trackers, and dashboards for planning and monitoring.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather data, validate assumptions, and consolidate planning inputs.
• Prepare and present professional reports and written summaries, including progress updates and budget utilization reports, for the Head of Planning and senior management.
• Assist in long-term strategic planning, resource forecasting, and preparation of planning documentation.
• Monitor plan execution and ensure alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
• Contribute to the improvement of planning tools, templates, and internal reporting structures.
  
  
  

• Bachelors degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business/project planning, or
• Masters degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the same field.
• Strong experience in project planning, budget handling, and variance tracking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (must), with hands-on experience in formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear reports, emails, and planning documents.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.

• Working Hours: 9:30AM to 6:30 PM PST

The Manager Business Planning will work closely with technology, commercial, and other divisions, as well as within BPA, to ensure effective delivery around Capex. The role requires insightful and dynamic analysis to support business decision-making. The position reports to the Senior Business Manager Technology & Digital in Business Planning and Analysis.

• Detailed analysis of Capex, CoGs, and Opex for the technology division
• Review Opex Forecast submitted by various Technology departments
• Coordinate with respective teams to finalize and present forecasts to Management for approval
• Review monthly Opex reporting for accuracy and monitor expenditures against forecasts
• Prepare monthly reports, liaising with stakeholders in Technology, Accounts, and Strategy teams
• Evaluate IC cases to assess project feasibility and alignment with strategic goals
• Post-evaluation of IC cases and offers to determine achievement of objectives with recommendations
• Conduct ad hoc analysis projects to support overall company targets
• Analyze large data sets to provide actionable insights to top management
• Understand key value drivers for KPIs in the telecom sector, and macro & micro-economic indicators affecting Telenor Pakistan
• Support other divisions/departments in various projects

• Develop and improve financial models for forecasting and reporting
• Create a forecasting database based on trends in actual reporting
• Support ad hoc analyses for management decision-making
• Analyze value drivers and trends, providing decision support to management
• Liaise with accounts and technology teams for monthly financial closings

Education: MBA, ACMA, CA, ACCA, or other relevant financial/business qualifications

The Strategy Planning Executive will play a key role in driving PTCL Group`s business growth by developing and implementing corporate strategies, financial planning, and analysis. This role will work closely with the Head of Strategy and other stakeholders to identify business opportunities, prepare financial models, and provide advisory services to top management. • Assist in formulating PTCL Group Strategy business plan by collection and analysis of data from internal stakeholders and market. Individual will assist in assuming key assumptions and prepare 5 Year financial forecasts
• Develop corporate strategy for the company, and align with company’s functional Stakeholders
• Evaluate and periodic review of key performance indicators and their impact on corporate growth
• Scan new opportunities related to revenue enhancement, cost optimization, strategic business alliances etc. and prepare associated Business Case / Financial models and sensitivities for approval by top
• Establish good working relations with key internal stakeholders such as Technical, Finance, Commercial, Business services, regulatory and operations

• Professional Degree in Business Administration/Finance from recognized institute.
• Good understanding of telecom & tech market dynamics and insight into domestic & global market.
