Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Network Operations Manager. This position will be located in Islamabad, Pakistan and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

Provide network operations. The contractor shall:

  1. Use AFCENT provided standard network devices for routing and switching;
  2. Operate, maintain and sustain IP based routers, switches and standard AFCENT approved operating systems on AFCENT network devices;
  3. Configure Tier 2 routing and switching devices IAW SPIN-C;
  4. Design and implement solutions, and install and maintain network equipment to support new and emerging requirements;
  5. Provide responsive services, real-time network level configuration control, network restoration, quality control and performance standards, status reporting, MSL, and other actions IAW SPIN-C;
  6. Support projects deployed by the NOSC;
  7. Ensure network rights and privileges are commensurate with roles and responsibilities; do not delegate network rights and privileges without the approval of the NOSC or local communications squadron commander;
  8. Maintain compliance with: SPIN-C, CTOs and NOTAMs, DOD, USAF, CENTCOM, AFCENT, and local instructions;
  9. Use Remedy to report and track local and enterprise issues associated with network and systems operations;
  10. Monitor and sustain network operations;
  11. Assist the government in maintaining positive control over hardware and software;
  12. Maintain hardware accountability using the Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) and Asset Inventory Management System (AIMS);
  13. Ensure equipment transfer is IAW AFH 22-123 SPSS and Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) policies and directives;
  14. Assist government with packing and shipping of equipment;
  15. Be responsible for encryption equipment used on the network;
  16. Ensure control and safeguarding configuration and ‘user-level’ maintenance of Ethernet and serial encryption devices;
  17. Coordinate with COMSEC manager to ensure approved encryption keys are available for encryption equipment used on the network;
  18. Install and maintain network wireless equipment to support new and emerging requirements;
  19. Use AFCENT provided wireless network devices for routing and switching;
  20. Provide responsive services to include real-time network-level configuration control, wireless network restoration, and quality control and performance standards;
  21. Provide a heat map for the area supported by AFCENT wireless.

Update and submit the Network Configuration Data Sheet (Deliverable) and Tier 2 Network Diagrams (Deliverable) for both NIPR and SIPR every month.

Qualifications

High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience). Clearance Required: Secret.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • IAT-II Certification;
  • 6 years’ experience in design, maintenance and operation of medium to large networks; and systems management, monitoring and sustainment;
  • Experience on military networks: Cisco routing and switching technologies; managing networks with industry standard platforms, network performance analysis, Cisco IOS network configuration and troubleshooting; establishing new circuit requirements; and documenting network enterprise, developing continuity folders and as-built drawings.

One or more of the following:

  • CCNP Collaboration;
  • CCNP Data Center;
  • CCNP Enterprise;
  • CCNP Service Provider.

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Management and Infrastructure Specialist to oversee our
extensive video and image datasets crucial for computer vision model training. The ideal candidate will
ensure data integrity, accuracy, and real-time accessibility

Key Responsibilities:

Data Cleaning: Identify and remove corrupted or improperly cropped data, ensuring it iscorrectly re-extracted and validated.
Data Verification:
Ensure video and image data align accurately with their labels and intendedpurposes. Correct any misalignments or discrepancies.
Frame Accuracy:
Check and correct frame sequences within videos, ensuring no frames areout-of-order or missing.
Database Management:
Maintain an accurate, up-to-date database with precise metadata,including video duration and relevant information, eliminating manual checks.
Pipeline Development:
Build and manage efficient data pipelines that facilitate quick datasetcreation based on defined parameters and targeted output locations.
Real-Time Data Management:
Continuously update and manage incoming data, ensuringdatasets remain current and immediately accessible.Collaboration with IT : Clearly communicate data and infrastructure requirements to the ITteam to ensure effective utilization and optimization of existing resources.
Backup Coordination:
Work with the IT team to ensure regular backups, safeguarding dataintegrity and availability.

Required Skills:

1.Experience with data cleaning, verification, and management of video/image datasets.
2.Proficiency in database management and metadata handling.
3. Familiarity with developing automated pipelines for dataset generation.
4.Knowledge of data backup strategies and effective utilization of infrastructure.
5.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Prior experience in computer vision or related AI/ML projects
2.Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure or high-performance storage solutions
3.Ability to automate workflows using scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)

You would join a small team of 25 individuals working remotely and globally including in the Philippines, Pakistan, the United States, and Canada.

We specialize in vehicle data. Since 2011, we have aggregated billions of vehicle-related records, helped millions of consumers evaluate a car purchase, and served thousands of automotive businesses with access to our unique datasets.

This role involves:

  • Manage assigned tasks ensuring data meet the standard quality report
  • Review pertinent data and build detailed reports for upper management
