We are seeking a smart, solution-oriented
Control Systems Engineer
to design, engineer, and implement automation/control system projects, while also contributing to
Competency Management knowledge development
within the engineering department. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in control systems engineering, IoT technologies, and process-oriented methodologies (E2/E3), along with the ability to document, transfer, and strengthen organizational competencies in engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering and design of control systems for one or more projects (SC-OPS).
- Develop and review control system architectures, schematics, and design documents.
- Apply solution-oriented techniques to optimize automation processes.
- Work on IoT-enabled solutions for integration with existing systems.
- Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, process (E2/E3) requirements, and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver smart, efficient, and reliable solutions.
- Perform hands-on configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems.
- Support project execution from concept to commissioning.
- Contribute to the Competency Management knowledge framework by:
Documenting engineering standards, best practices, and lessons learned.
Assisting in the development of
training materials, technical guides, and competency assessments
.
Sharing knowledge with junior engineers to
enhance technical capabilities
across the team.
Requirements:
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
- Bachelor's in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Control Systems Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in Control Systems Engineering/Design.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, DCS, IoT applications.
- Familiarity with E2/E3 process-oriented methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines with a smart and hands-on approach.
- Interest in Competency Management, knowledge sharing, and capability building.
