• Post RN B.Sc.N or B.Sc. General Nursing with at least 5 years clinical experience in an acute care setting as Senior Nurse or Head Nurse.
• Should be registered with PNC. Those having specialization in ICU, ER, and additional diploma in Health management, certified for BLS, ACLS and ECG will be preferred.
• Supervisory skills to lead and guide team members.
• Should have good communication skills in English and Urdu and proficient in use of MS Office.
• This is a shift job covering 24 hours for which there is a periodic shift rotation

Position Summary
Responsible for overseeing the professional nursing practice model and interdisciplinary care models for patient care within Park Nicollet Ambulatory Care. Serves as the liaison between nursing staff/management and other departments with a focus on patient and staff safety and satisfaction. Provides guidance to senior leadership and physician leadership for the implementation of nursing practice and nursing care models e.g., nurse triage, post-discharge follow-up, coordination of care and services, policies, protocols and standing orders.

This position is also responsible for the daily operations of the Nurse Triage, Centralized Medication Refill department and the Float Pool.
10 to 12 years of experience and a Master's degree in Nursing, Education, or Health Care Administration preferred.

Hospital & Health Care - Karachi, Pakistan

1. Manage a team of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care to the patients in the assigned units.
2. Ensure implementation of International Patient Safety Goals and Infection Control practices in assigned units.
3. Ensure implementation and effective utilization of EMR in assigned units by respective nursing staff.
4. Visit patients in assigned units to assess the quality of nursing care and to obtain patients' feedback regarding nursing services, ensuring that issues and concerns, if any, are duly addressed.
5. Ensure completion of pre and post requisites of all specialized invasive and non-invasive procedures as per orders.
6. Report medication-related incidents and adverse effects promptly to Section Head and Clinicians.
7. Conduct internal check of medication and supplies of assigned areas.
8. Participate actively in designing patient education material in coordination with Section Head Clinical Nursing and Nursing Education Services (NES) and ensure its implementation.
9. Participate in audits and take action to address non-conformities.

1. BSN (Preferable MSN) with 05-06 years of experience in clinical nursing including 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
2. Must have valid PNC registration.
3. Preferably have BLS, ACLS, and ECG certificates.
4. Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills both in Urdu and English languages.
5. Ability to handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others professionally.
6. Able to work efficiently under time constraints.
7. Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
8. Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude.

• Plan and coordinate orientation and training programs for nursing staff.
• Create proposals for additional training programs.
• Conduct bedside teaching sessions.
• Conduct random clinical rounds to evaluate staff performance and instructional methodologies. Share reports with Section Heads, Chief Nursing Officer, and Controller Nursing Administration.
• Collaborates with supervisors and unit heads to identify in-service program needs.
• Manages the NES as part of Continuous Quality Improvement.
• Participates in quality efforts such as Nursing Quality Assurance, Continuous Quality Improvement, and Infection Control.

• B.Sc. Nursing with at least 4 to 5 years of clinical experience and at least 1 year of teaching experience in Nursing.
• Should have experience in conducting and organizing Nursing Education training sessions and should be well-versed in clinical audits and reporting.
• Must have valid PNC registration.
• Good communication skills in English and Urdu and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Candidates having specialization in ICU and ER and/or certified for BLS, ACLS, and ECG will be preferred.
