Job Description
Key Solutions LLP is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical design. Fresh graduates with proficiency in CAD software and mechanical design-related university projects are also encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1 year of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer is a plus, although fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as well.
- Experience in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, CATIA is required.
- Good knowledge of 3D modeling, assemblies, and technical drawing, dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods and design for manufacturing is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills and analytical, quick thinking and learning ability, self-organization is a must.
- Effective communication skills with the team and with the client.
- Must be in Lahore (Company does not provide accommodation).
- Full-time, onsite position.
Responsibilities
- Assist in 3D modeling, assemblies, and 2D drawing tasks.
- Support senior engineers in CAD operations and product design.
- Collaborate with the design team to meet project specifications.
- Perform quality control checks on assigned tasks.
- Prepare and update design documentation.
- Participate in reverse engineering and design optimization tasks.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior team members.
- Continuously improve SolidWorks and CAD skills through guidance and training.
Hiring Process & Contractual Terms
- Hiring stages: Two rounds of online interviews and one onsite test.
- A 2-year contractual commitment is mandatory.
- A bachelor’s degree will be required as a security deposit upon joining (held until contract obligations are met).
- Salary range: 50,000 – 80,000 PKR, disbursed in the first week of each month.
- Loyalty bonus after 2 years (an additional 15% of the monthly salary will be contributed by the company every month).
- Paid leaves (annual, sick, and casual).
- Annual increment of 20-30% if performance goals are met.
- Employee will be granted an opportunity to appear for SolidWorks CSWP after completion of one year of their contract. Keyway Solutions will pay half of the course fee with a fee not exceeding $200.
- Note: No additional benefits are available currently.
