Position Related We are seeking an experiencedOracle Cloud Expertwith a strong background inAWS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise inOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), a solid understanding ofAWS services, and proven experience in designing and executing cloud migration strategies. This role involves leading migration projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration and optimization of cloud environments. Goals Design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions that align with organizational objectives. Ensure high performance, security, and compliance in all OCI environments. Drive continuous improvement, automation, and best practices in cloud operations. Your Typical day at work Design and implement scalable OCI architecture, leveraging Oracle Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless transition and integration. Build automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools. Monitor and troubleshoot performance, availability, and post-migration issues. Enforce governance, compliance, and security standards in OCI. Provide guidance and best practices to internal stakeholders on OCI and cloud adoption. Deliver training and mentorship to internal technical teams. Contribute to process standardization and documentation of all migration and deployment activities. Manage ad hoc cloud-related tasks and participate in strategic planning initiatives. Note: Above goals and job descriptions are indicative and subject to change Eligibility Criteria Experience and Qualification: 5–8 years of hands-on experience in cloud computing with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS. Expertise in OCI components including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Databases. Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC) and migration tooling. Proven experience with cloud migration methodologies: re-hosting, re-platforming, and re-architecting. Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible. Familiar with Oracle database technologies (Oracle DB, MySQL, Autonomous DB) and related migration techniques. Skilled in DevOps practices and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas Strong command of cloud networking, security, and identity management. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.) and automation frameworks. Knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud architecture best practices. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment workflows. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Self-starter with strong ownership, time management, and follow-through. Team-oriented with an ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines. Ability to adapt quickly, accept challenges, and meet strict deadlines. Evolution to Cloud Architecture. Strategic positions in multi-cloud strategy, infrastructure planning, or enterprise transformation. Opportunities in DevOps, Cloud Security, and IT Governance.
