What does FP&A Business Partner do?
- Collaborate with technology teams to formulate Capex business plans. This involves review of inputs received, substantiating through analytical procedures, setting projects timelines and ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Work in close collaboration with technology teams & other stakeholders for developing robust 0+12, Quarterly and rolling forecasts.
- Carry out investment appraisals, sensitivity and variance analysis to support management decision making ensuring efficient spend.
- Be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual closing of Capex results of technology department.
- Spend analysis, Cost control and Reporting of key Capex items
- Maintaining complete track of CAPEX spend and projects
- Present monthly, Quarterly and annual projects status update in comparison to approved business case, highlighting gaps; and
- Advising management of adjustments & corrective actions required.
- Maintain project data in oracle and in liaison with approved business cases.
- Deal with budget owners to resolve their queries and provide visibility regarding Actual vs Budget spend, devising plans to close gaps, measuring exchange gain/loss impacts on budget, defining PR/PO timelines to ensure timely recording, discussion on monthly results & indicators, future forecasts & sensitivity analysis and required action plans.
- Liaison with Corporate Accounting/Shared services teams + Accrual Management.
- Coordinating with auditors, Consultants for audit and other assignments.
- Manage CWIP/Inventory against budget targets. Communication of agreed strategy & targets to stakeholders, working out MOM status and plans and ensuring compliance thereof.
- Manage P2P activities for technology function. A focal point between Technology, Vendors, SCM, AP & Tax teams for PR/PO issuance & invoice processing.

He/she will be responsible for managing sales and marketing of our Integrated Exam & Result Management software solutions to the regional schools, colleges, and other educational institutes.
He/she will work closely with the management to develop business strategy and its effective implementation.
Min Requirements:

Oracle Consulting practice in EY, a part of the ERP Consulting services, provides consulting services to clients with a focus on Enterprise Integration, Business Intelligence, AI (Artificial Intelligence), Gen AI (Generative AI) and Governance, Risk and Compliance solutions. We assist clients in the successful deployment of Oracle's full suite of enterprise applications which includes Oracle eBusiness Suite, Fusion (ERP Cloud, HCM cloud, CRM cloud, infra on cloud) Siebel, PeopleSoft, Primavera, and Hyperion product ranges.
We help to clients throughout the life cycle of an ERP deployment, starting from package selection, RFP creation, vendor selection, program management and program office setup, ERP implementation, Process mapping, pre-Implementation review, post implementation review and support. Our solutions and services are aimed to provide solutions in areas of Financial Management, Human Resources Management, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Customer Relationship Management and Corporate Performance Management.
The Opportunity
EY is recruiting for an Oracle Analytics and AI Technical Consultant to join our rapidly expanding Technology Consulting team in Pakistan.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom reports utilizing Oracle Fusion’s BI Publisher and OTBI.
- Analyze user-reported issues and provide effective resolutions.
- Create solutions that align with application architecture and adhere to coding standards.
- Collaborate with users to develop, test, and implement reports, analytics, and AI use cases leveraging Generative AI and Agentic AI.
- Work closely with the technical team to design, build, and test KPIs and metrics using Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
- Partner with Functional Consultants to assess and review the feasibility of business requirements.
- Analyze requirements to determine the technical effort required and prepare detailed technical designs and specifications.
- Generate ad hoc reports and queries to support various business needs.
- Explore and brainstorm AI use cases utilizing Generative AI and Agentic AI, implementing solutions using Oracle’s capabilities in these areas.
- Strong understanding of the data model within Oracle Fusion Cloud (HCM, ERP, SCM).
- Proficient in PL/SQL, BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Fusion Data Intelligence.
- Experience in data science and AI, specifically with Generative AI and Agentic AI.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and SOAP Web services.
- Knowledge of the latest cutting-edge technologies in the field.
- 4 to 10 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle PaaS (OCI Gen AI, Oracle Analytics Cloud, OCI Data Science).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 implementations of Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle PaaS.
- Hands-on experience in BI Publisher and OTBI report development, with a solid understanding of relevant subject areas and data models.
- Extensive experience in data modeling, SQL, and PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, packages, views, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Oracle Digital Assistant for chatbots is a plus.
