A product manager is responsible for managing the company's marketing & sales initiatives. Uses market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning. Oversees the sales of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
Key Duties and Job Descriptions:- Assume an active leadership role in the development and implementation of sales strategies to attain assigned sales objectives.
- Ensure that his team achieves organizational goals and quality objectives within the prescribed time.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets by using strategic sales plans.
- Retain, extend, and acquire customers through effective identification of opportunities and specific needs for our industry.
- Establish/build strong customer relationships that provide growth, profitability, and predictability.
- Monitor and improve sales team performance by closely working together with team members.
- Build ongoing knowledge of current industry trends, competitive information, and industry/technical knowledge and disseminate that information with company colleagues, especially with his team via training.
