Lead the area team in meeting the extension, volume, and quality objectives of Leaf at a planned grade mix & price. Work in close coordination with farmers in the area and ensure that they grow and provide the required amount of quality tobacco. Ensure proper handling of Green Leaf stock to preserve the quality, control infestation, minimize waste/loss and thereby improve cost. Establish necessary budgetary controls through proper monitoring to sustain crop expenses. Lead the field force for extension in Integrated Crop Management (ICM) approach for sustainable agriculture. Engage with various stakeholders for smooth area operations.
Job SpecificationShould have strong communication skills and capability to deal with people at different levels. Should be self-motivated and possess initiative, drive, and leadership abilities to lead a team with decision-making as well as resource management skills. Must possess effective interpersonal and influencing skills. Should exhibit leadership and conflict management skills. Should not have mobility issues and be willing to relocate to anywhere in Pakistan or outside of Pakistan anytime in their career with PTC/BAT. Candidates with mobility issues need not apply.
