Purpose of the Role

Lead product development, sampling, and technical support for knitting, dyeing, and finishing processes, focusing on quality and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development and Innovation

• Lead end-to-end product development (yarn to finishing), improve existing products and processes, and research new technologies.
• Define steps and ensure timely completion of sampling for new developments.

1. Team Development and Knowledge Management

• Develop, manage, and mentor a team of technical engineers, ensuring high-quality output.
• Define and develop SOPs for R&D processes.

1. Performance Reporting and Compliance

• Design and define processes for medium- and long-term performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and environmental standards, including Bluesign and Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

1. Testing and Cross-functional Collaboration

• Oversee testing of new equipment and yarn dyeing projects.

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Assistant Manager Research & Development (R&D) to support the development and optimization of pharmaceutical products. This role involves assisting in managing formulation projects, ensuring compliance with GLP/GMP, and fostering innovation in product development.

Education: Pharm-D

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in R&D within the pharmaceutical industry

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the formulation and development of pharmaceutical products, including product stability studies and process optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing to ensure efficient project execution.
• Conduct experiments for product development and support the evaluation of product safety, efficacy, and stability.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations related to research outcomes and project status.
• Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts in R&D processes.
• Stay updated with advancements in pharmaceutical science and recommend improvements for product innovation.

The candidate should possess a Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics) from a recognized local or foreign university. He/She should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with at least 03 years experience as departmental head. Preference will be given to holders of doctoral/Masters degree, supplemented with management degree from a recognized foreign university.

The candidate must be a self-starter, highly organized, polished presenter and possess top level interpersonal, business management and facilitation skills.

Education: BE Mechanical or Industrial Manufacturing

Experience: 8-10 Years

1. Interaction with sales and after marketing teams and clients to fully understand the concept of Customized Products.
2. Translate the product concept into product specifications.
3. Hand sketch or rough drawing of new product with specification like parts, brand dimension etc. to put all customer’s requirement on paper.
4. Arrange performance testing and overall quality of product in house or outsource if required.
5. Prepare BOM and engineering drawings on Auto CAD / Pro E.
6. Coordinate with concerned departments to hand over properly for manufacturing of parts locally, in-house or SKD.
