Job Purpose

Shapes the development and implementation of the Agile Ways of Working. Promotes the culture appropriate to Agile (i.e. customer-focus mindset, time-to-market, MVP, transparency etc.) and is the figurehead of the associated behavior. The Agile Coach (AC) engages people by using clear communication, giving, and receiving constructive feedback, understanding, and simplifying complex issues, and contributing to the desired culture change.

Key Result Areas

• Apply continuous improvement to Agile processes in order to further evolve and enhance the operating model
• Manage and coach Scrum Masters within squads for adhering to the appropriate Agile ways of working (e.g. tracker boards, Azure)
• Continuously seek to improve team performance by promoting joint accountability for results and solving productivity issues
• Deploy Agile in new segments/division of the bank from point zero.
• Provide ongoing facilitation and coaching that enables the teams to excel at Agile.
• Continuously seek to improve team performance by promoting joint accountability for results and solving productivity issues, resulting in increased Velocity each Sprint
• Accountability for achieving the defined Sprint Goals by the team.
• Liaise with Scrum Masters, Squads/Tribes and Product Owners to ensure deliverables/approach are consistent with the objectives.

• Redesign and Lead the Business and Digital Agile Maturity assessment framework inline with best practices

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience
• Certified Scrum Master/Agile Coach (Knowledge of Agile process e.g. Scrum, Kanban & SAFe)
• Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile artifacts & ceremonies, e.g. Sprint planning/review, daily stand-up, User Stories & retrospective etc.
• 7-10 years of experience in delivering project using Agile ways of working, playing the role of Scrum Master/Agile Coach
• At least 3 successfully delivered project using Agile/Scum methodology where you played the role of Scrum Master/Agile Coach.
• At least 1 successfully delivered technical projects with experience in software development and/or project management.
• Experience applying a wide variety patterns, analysis and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach, e.g. Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, etc.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills

· Provide ongoing facilitation and coaching that enables your team to excel at Agile development

· Facilitate discussion leading to collective decision-making, goal setting and conflict resolution within the team

· Actively manage risks and external dependencies drawing in team members as appropriate

Required Experience and Skills:

· Strong experience in software design and development

· Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience

· At least 3 successfully delivered project using Agile methodology where you played the role of Scrum Master/Agile Coach

· At least 3 successfully delivered technical projects with experience in software development and/or project management

The Agile Coach is responsible for driving the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using agile development best practices and ensuring project management using latest techniques to ensure timely delivery. Education:
