Job Purpose :
Shapes the development and implementation of the Agile Ways of Working. Promotes the culture appropriate to Agile (i.e. customer-focus mindset, time-to-market, MVP, transparency etc.) and is the figurehead of the associated behavior. Key Result Areas :
- Apply continuous improvement to Agile processes in order to further evolve and enhance the operating model
- Manage and coach Scrum Masters within squads for adhering to the appropriate Agile ways of working (e.g. tracker boards, Azure)
- Continuously seek to improve team performance by promoting joint accountability for results and solving productivity issues
- Deploy Agile in new segments/division of the bank from point zero.
- Provide ongoing facilitation and coaching that enables the team

- Accountability for achieving the defined Sprint Goals by the team.
- Liaise with Scrum Masters, Squads/Tribes and Product Owners to ensure deliverables/approach are consistent with the objectives.
- Work closely with other Agile teams and management across Mashreq service lines.
- Redesign and Lead the Business and Digital Agile Maturity assessment framework inline with best practices.

- Works within a multidisciplinary team or in an environment in which multidisciplinary teamwork is carried out
- Works in a fast-paced environment where fast decision-making, rapid problem-solving and quick escalation (where required) is needed
- Collaborates with various stakeholders and creates good rapport with different level of seniority within the organization
- Actively manage risks and external dependencies drawing in team members as appropriate
- Accountable for creating and maintaining the forums for open communication within the team (e.g. tracker boards, Azure boards) to create a trusting and safe team environment.
Good understanding of project management and at least 2-3 year experience as project manager.

Blockers, risks and dependencies putting the program/project at risk, to be raised fast and early
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience
- Certified Scrum Master/Agile Coach (Knowledge of Agile process e.g. Scrum, Kanban & SAFe)
- Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile artifacts & ceremonies, e.g. Sprint planning/review, daily stand-up, User Stories & retrospective etc.
- 7-10 years of experience in delivering project using Agile ways of working, playing the role of Scrum Master/Agile Coach
- At least 3 successfully delivered project using Agile/Scum methodology where you played the role of Scrum Master/Agile Coach.
- At least 1 successfully delivered technical projects with experience in software development and/or project management.
