Job Description
- Manage a team of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care to the patients in the assigned units.
- Ensure implementation of International Patient Safety Goals and Infection Control practices in assigned units.
- Ensure implementation and effective utilization of EMR in assigned units by respective nursing staff.
- Visit patients in assigned units to assess the quality of nursing care and to obtain patients' feedback regarding nursing services, ensuring that issues and concerns, if any, are duly addressed.
- Ensure completion of pre and post requisites of all specialized invasive and non-invasive procedures as per orders.
- Report medication-related incidents and adverse effects promptly to Section Head and Clinicians.
- Conduct internal check of medication and supplies of assigned areas.
- Participate actively in designing patient education material in coordination with Section Head Clinical Nursing and Nursing Education Services (NES) and ensure its implementation.
- Participate in audits and take action to address non-conformities.
- BSN (Preferable MSN) with 05-06 years of experience in clinical nursing including 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Must have valid PNC registration.
- Preferably have BLS, ACLS, and ECG certificates.
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills both in Urdu and English languages.
- Ability to handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others professionally.
- Able to work efficiently under time constraints.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude.
