Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our IT Operations team. The ideal candidate will provide 24/7 remote support for our hybrid on-premises virtualized infrastructure and cloud-based services hosted on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 eco system. Key Responsibilities:

  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions. Ensure the smooth operation of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.

  • Support tickets and manage incidents, service requests, and problems through their full life cycle.
  • Work in hybrid multi location operations team administering existing production environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator, Microsoft Entra Administrator, Endpoint Administrator, Microsoft 365 Security, MCSE) are highly desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in System Administration or similar role in hybrid cloud large enterprise environment.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and virtualization.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, MDI, MIP, and MFA/Conditional Access.
  • Familiarity with email protection tools and configurations in Microsoft Defender for office 365.

  4. Schedule and monitor backup of network data. Periodically restore files, applications, and the entire system on other network hardware to test backup facilities.

  5. Install, configure, and maintain IPS/IDS, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Antimalware, etc. for maximum internal network protection.

  6. Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network connected end-user hardware, software, and peripheral devices.

  7. Install, configure, and maintain network cabling and other networking equipment such as hubs, switches, and UPS.

  8. Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and standards regarding LAN, WAN, security, and the use of the organization's computer and information assets in conjunction with InfoSec.

  9. ensure the efficient operation of network servers and network operating systems.

  10. Experience with Cisco VoIP phone systems, NAS, VPN, CCTV.

Basic knowledge of Linux systems and various open-source solutions.

  1. Experience with running CAT 5/6 and fiber cabling and installing new network drops when needed

  2. Knowledge about point 2-point connectivity and issues.

  3. Knowledge about the telecommuting services .
