This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless implementation & management of innovative digital solutions, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving technological excellence across industries. As a Cloud Expert, you will manage, optimize, and support cloud infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT systems while providing expert-level support to end-users. This role demands in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, basic networking and security, and the ability to handle helpdesk tickets for cloud-based environments. What You’ll Lead and Deliver:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

  • Administer and manage Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines (VMs), virtual networks, storage, and backups.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Tenant configuration and management.
  • Manage Microsoft Intune for device management and ensure the integration of mobile and endpoint devices with Azure AD.
  • Azure Entra-ID (Identity Management), manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
  • Manage Active Directory (on-premises) and Azure Active Directory synchronization, policies, and user access.

Cloud Billing and License Management:

  • Administer cloud billing for Microsoft Azure and 365, ensuring cost optimization and monitoring of resource usage.
  • Manage licensing for Microsoft 365 products and other cloud services, ensuring compliance and proper allocation of resources.

Virtualization and vCenter Management:

  • Administer and maintain virtualized environments, including VMware vCenter and other relevant virtualization platforms.
  • Monitor virtual machine performance and ensure high availability and scalability within the virtualized environment.

Networking & Security:

  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnets, and VPNs.
  • Understand basic cloud-based security concepts including firewalls, network security, and threat management.

Antivirus and Patch Management:

  • Basic management of antivirus and endpoint protection within the cloud environment.
  • Assist in managing patch deployments across virtual machines and endpoints to ensure security compliance.

Helpdesk Support and Ticket Management:

  • Handle user helpdesk tickets related to cloud-based applications, Office 365, and other IT services.
  • Provide technical support for issues related to cloud infrastructure, virtual machines, and software applications.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud-related technical issues promptly.

Requirements:

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

Experience:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure and related cloud services (Office 365, Azure AD).
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk or IT support role, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Experience in a multinational environment is a plus.

Education:

  • BCS, MCS, Masters
  • Discipline: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering

Technical Competencies:

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure administration, including VMs, networking, storage, and identity management (Azure AD).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, Intune).
  • Knowledge of cloud billing management and license management for cloud products (Azure, Office 365, etc.).
  • Strong working knowledge of Active Directory (on-premises) and Azure Active Directory (AD) integration, management, and synchronization.
  • Experience with vCenter and VMware virtualization technologies.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles, including VPNs, DNS, and TCP/IP.
  • Familiarity with antivirus and endpoint protection software.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or higher.
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent virtualization certifications.
  • ITIL Foundation certification (desirable).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to handle user tickets effectively.

Responsibilities:
  1. System Maintenance: Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including system updates, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and security of Linux-based servers.
  2. Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to optimize the performance of Linux servers and associated applications.
  3. Security Implementation: Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard systems, networks, and data. Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  4. Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to protect critical data. Test and validate backup processes to ensure data integrity.
  5. On-call availability would be required if and when needed to cater to outages, troubleshooting, and campaign activities.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  2. Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator, with a deep understanding of Linux operating systems (preferably CentOS, Ubuntu).
