Job Summary:
Zameen.com is looking to recruit a skilled professional for its 'IT Support Executive' post.
The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. Furthermore, they will be tasked with monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests, and talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, and operation of small to medium networks.
- Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN (IPSEC / SSL), QoS)
- Experience must include administrating corporate or business’ user accounts managing mail servers, printer servers, and web servers.
- Experience in systems management, monitoring, and sustainment; hardware repair for servers, PCs, peripheral equipment; software installation, maintenance, and sustainment. Implementation and administration of Active Directory, Expertise in configuring DHCP / DNS / Radius Servers. Expertise in Mikrotik and PFsense & Hardware Firewalls.
- Understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi host and Hyper-V).
- Hands-on experience to define multiple virtual servers on a single host machine.
- Block web/application access and/to prevent known malware attacks through.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Perform troubleshooting, archiving, and back-up of the server.
- Call center system knowledge with Asterisk server is a plus. Team management.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-4+ years of experience in network and system administration with a focus on security.
- A strong understanding of G Suite (Google Workspace) , including user management, email configuration, and administrative controls
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, BGP, OSPF) and secure network architectures.
- Hands-on experience with firewall technologies (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) and VPN configurations.
- Strong knowledge of server administration (Windows, Linux), system hardening techniques, and user authentication protocols (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory).
- Proficiency in configuring security technologies such as IDS/IPS, encryption tools, and endpoint protection.
