Job Description- Closely liaise and coordinate with principals for achieving sales & coverage objectives.
- Ensure and monitor effective time and attendance management including of team members as per the stated guidelines on working hours.
- Prepare sales targets/objectives for the supervisors and sales team and upon approval; put it into plan of action for timely achievement
- Monitor the achievement of the sales at regular intervals and compare it with the actual plan of action.
- Identify variances from the sales targets and take corrective measures.
- Ensure regular market visit to obtain maximum feedback, also ensure that sales team regularly visit market with the following purposes:
- To determine that the market is properly covered;
- That the outlets get proper after sales service;
- That deliveries are made regularly and in time;
- To address customer grievances; and
- To endeavor to develop new customers and to develop new towns.
- Regularly review the coverage plans of sales team to ensure maximum market coverage and make appropriate changes when needed.
- Ensure the optimum utilization of delivery vans in order to get the comprehensive market coverage. Also, regularly monitor the millage recorded in the logbook against the location/destination point.
- Ensure to maintain the loading capacity of van in order to keep the stock within the insured limit.
- To effectively maintain proper records and timely communication of all sales related activities/ information to head office/regional office.
- Safeguard the interest of the sales team in line with the interest of the company.
- Ensure prompt and timely recovery of dishonored cheques.
- Ensure all cash deposits are timely made during supply of orders through sales team.
- Strictly follow the policy on credit/cheque facility to be given only to the approve customers as per the stated SOPs’.
- Efforts are to be made to liquidate the slow-moving stock.
- Ensure new launches of any product by the principals are to be taken aggressively with zeal & enthusiasm.
- To effectively train and motivate the sales team, while inculcating a sense of commitment amongst them.
- Provide due recognition to sales team for their performance and achievements, by carrying out annual performance evaluation of the reporting team members, as per the individual goals assigned for the year.
- Recommend sales incentives for the field/sales staff and send it head office/regional office for approval.
- To be aware of product enhancements or changes; to understand any specific promotions or advertising campaigns launched and their objectives by the principal in order to get the maximum sales out of Principal’s new moves.

- Development and maintenance of strong and trustworthy relationships with all assigned accounts.
- Analysis and identification of upcoming needs and opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Responsible for MoM Growth of all assigned accounts.
- Clearly communicate the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare reports on Commercial Metrics, Operational Metrics & Product Mix
- Support cross functional teams in delivering the strategy by facilitating communication of lessons learned, resolving urgent issues, lining up appropriate group level support and deploying processes & tools.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant.
