About the Role
As a Sales Excellence & Strategy Associate, you will support the end-to-end management of sales leads, data integrity, and reporting within our CRM system (Pipedrive). You'll play a crucial role in helping ensure enquiries are correctly assigned, tracked, and maintained across regions — providing visibility and structure from the initial enquiry all the way through to event delivery.
This is a hands-on, detail-focused role that blends sales support, data management, and process improvement. It's ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, systems, and seeing how structured information drives business success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Enquiry Management
- Support the management and allocation of incoming leads, ensuring accurate assignment to Account Managers based on depot, client type, and region.
- Assist in filtering out spam and marketing submissions to maintain data quality.
- Log new leads into Pipedrive, including those from emails, enquiry forms, Intellivent, and group inboxes.
- Update lead records with essential details such as quote numbers, close dates, values, and product types.
CRM Data Integrity & Maintenance
- Help maintain clean, duplicate-free data within the CRM through regular checks and updates.
- Standardise CRM data entry formats to ensure consistency and accurate reporting across regions.
- Track pipeline movement and ensure lead statuses reflect accurate progress at all times.
- Reconcile email updates and comments to maintain full visibility of lead communication and next actions.
Reporting & Visibility
- Assist in preparing lead and pipeline reports for management review.
- Support the integration of CRM data with reporting tools to provide end-to-end visibility.
- Keep the CRM in a structured, report-ready format suitable for actionable insight.
Cross-Regional Coordination
- Collaborate with regional teams (EMEA, APAC, NA) to ensure full lead coverage and smooth handovers.
- Help identify bottlenecks in data flow or reporting consistency and flag improvement opportunities.
- Maintain visibility on leads related to global events, tracking updates through to closure.
Event Tracking & Admin Support
- Support tracking of Cvent and event-related data for accurate reporting and analysis.
- Assist the Sales Excellence & Strategy Team in general administrative and reporting tasks as needed.
Skills & Experience
- 1 year of experience in a CRM, administrative, or data coordination role (ideally within sales, events, or tech).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Confidence using CRM tools (experience with Pipedrive, HubSpot, or Salesforce is an advantage).
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for data updates and reporting.
- Strong written communication and an interest in improving processes.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and maintain accuracy under time pressure.
