- A master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Doctorate of Psychology, or a related field
- Actively licensed or eligible for/working towards clinical licensure in Pennsylvania (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist)
- Pre-licensed applicants must have completed a Master's degree or be within three (3) months of completing a degree at the time of the interview, due to our highly competitive training program
- A minimum of one year of experience providing client service in a professional counseling setting is preferred

JOB PURPOSE
This job contributes to the British Asian’s Trusts success by providing programme management to the Mental Health Pakistan Programme.
The role includes:
- Ensuring strong programme and project management including monitoring and evaluation of the Mental Health programme. Working with fundraising teams for timely and effective reporting to donors as well as contributing to internal BAT KPIs.
- Supporting the design and development of new projects and related partnerships, within the Mental Health Programme, guided by the Pakistan Mental Health Strategy.
- Working closely with the Fundraising teams to meet fundraising goals. Provide leadership and represent the BAT mental health programme on the Pakistan Mental Health Coalition (PMHC).
- Manage a small mental health team, providing leadership and guidance to them to fulfil their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of the programme to ensure they achieve desired outcomes and impact.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Mental Health programme, ensuring effective project management and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Monitor and evaluate programme performance, including setting key performance indicators and making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Ensure that relevant programme performance data is being captured effectively and robustly verified.
- Identify and manage relevant programme risks.
- Work with the Country team and Central Programmes team to ensure that programmes are run in adherence with relevant processes outlined in the organisation’s programme management manual, e.g., ensuring that due diligence of partners take place at prescribed intervals and to the desired quality.
- Develop a framework to evaluate partner performance and help develop partner capabilities as needed to ensure delivery of programme objectives and within budgetary constraints.
- Ensure programmes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. In particular, ensure a strong focus on Safeguarding in compliance with British Asian Trust policies.
Manage the design and development of the Mental Health Programme and related partnerships.
- Drive and lead programme strategy and design for areas of responsibility in alignment with the mental health theory of change and the Pakistan Mental Health Strategy.
- Identify new partners and opportunities and follow up on opportunities, supporting the fundraising team to put together proposals.
- Lead the strategic direction for MEL across the mental health programme. Ensure that all indicators and reports contribute to a cohesive set of data that informs high-level strategic goals. Champion the use of MEL as a critical tool for organisational learning, decision-making, and demonstrating impact to stakeholders.
- Ensure a robust safeguarding and risk matrix is in place and regularly updated.
- Develop and deliver on stakeholder engagement, including planning and managing events and raising programme profile.
- Play a strong secretarial role for the Pakistan Mental Health Coalition, driving the strategic and operational systems behind it alongside Taskeen; as well as manage the subcommittees BAT leads on.
- Promote BATs advocacy and ecosystem strengthening agendas through the network.
- Lead, mentor, and support the mental health team and staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the central programmes team and the wider programmes leadership to ensure that programmes in Pakistan are not only aligned to the wider British Asian Trust approach and Theory of Change but are also constantly improved as needed in terms of programme strategy, design and execution.
- Work in collaboration with the Social Finance to identify and help execute on opportunities for Social Finance projects in Mental Health.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous learning.
Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including implementing partners, funders, government agencies, community organisations, external sectoral experts and other partners.
- Represent the organisation at conferences, meetings, and public events to promote our programmes and build strategic alliances.
- Manage critical external stakeholders including relevant trustees and advisors to enable their inputs and collaboration in programme strategy as appropriate.

Job Description
The Mental Health Case Manager (MHCM) at International Medical Corps work as part of a multidisciplinary team and within a case management model using a biopsychosocial, multidisciplinary and a community-based approach. They are frontline workers providing mental health case management and other relevant services for people with MHPSS needs.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Promote and introduce the International Medical Corps mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services within community settings and PHCs.
• MHCMs will act as the primary focal point for MHPSS beneficiaries, conducting the full case management process (assessment, care planning, referral, follow up and discharge)
• Conduct an overall assessment for all their beneficiaries by completing the biopsychosocial assessment and the other assessments as required.
• Build and maintain a solid professional relationship with the clients, their environment and support network including family, caregivers, neighbors, and others with the client’s consent.
• Provide psychological and social support to MHPSS beneficiaries at the primary health care centers and community settings.
• Comprehend, fully understand and commit to IMC mental health case management model.
• Work closely with the members of MH case management team (psychotherapist, psychiatrist, mhGAP-trained healthcare workers) to develop and follow up on the care plans.
• Facilitate referrals and ensure adequate follow-up of all cases referred.
• Conduct outreach activities and home visits when needed.
• Prepare and conduct mental health awareness sessions using the relevant guidance, tools and IEC materials.
• Conduct community-based Psychosocial activities.
• Prepare and conduct psychoeducation.
• Maintain accurate and up to date documentation including activity records, client files.
• Attend any training relevant to assigned tasks internal or conducted by any other stakeholder after close coordination and approval of the direct supervisor
• Prepare, participate in and document Case Management technical meetings and case conferences.
• Work in close coordination with the MHPSS senior management and focal points on issues related to the field in terms of identification of challenges encountered, gaps, provide all necessary information to ensure better implementation of activities;
• Attend regular meetings with MHPSS focal points. Reporting
• Responsible for filling all relevant tools and documentation and should maintain regular updates in close coordination with the case management team;
• Submit monthly reports, in addition to the data collection sheet that should be filled on a weekly basis to the MHPSS manager
• Report any concerning issues firsthand to the direct supervisor;
• Provide reports on awareness raising and other PSS services

Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s in Counselling, Psychology. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
• Additional qualifications such as a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in social work, counselling, psychotherapy, psychological intervention, or other MHPSS related qualifications is desirable.
• Typically, 1 - 3 years of relevant and progressive experience in MHPSS service provision, health facility and/or community based MHPSS preferably in humanitarian/low resource settings.
• Previous NGO experience desired.
• Awareness of the IASC Guidelines on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings
• Able to exercise sound judgment and proactive problem-solver
• Good interpersonal skills, written, and oral communications skills.
• Ability to work within a team structure or in isolation, flexible, and can cope with stressful workloads and work with limited resources.

JOB PURPOSE This job contributes to the British Asian’s Trusts success by providing programme management to the Mental Health Pakistan Programme. The role includes: Ensuring strong programme and project management including monitoring and evaluation of the Mental Health programme. Working with fundraising teams for timely and effective reporting to donors as well as contributing to internal BAT KPIs. Supporting the design and development of new projects and related partnerships, within the Mental Health Programme, guided by the Pakistan Mental Health Strategy. Working closely with the Fundraising teams to meet fundraising goals. Provide leadership and represent the BAT mental health programme on the Pakistan Mental Health Coalition (PMHC). Manage a small mental health team, providing leadership and guidance to them to fulfil their roles. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of the programme to ensure they achieve desired outcomes and impact. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Mental Health programme, ensuring effective project management and adherence to timelines and budgets. Monitor and evaluate programme performance, including setting key performance indicators and making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Ensure that relevant programme performance data is being captured effectively and robustly verified. Identify and manage relevant programme risks. Work with the Country team and Central Programmes team to ensure that programmes are run in adherence with relevant processes outlined in the organisation’s programme management manual, e.g., ensuring that due diligence of partners take place at prescribed intervals and to the desired quality.
