- Participate in maintenance work activities during breakdowns, emergencies, shutdowns, and when required by the supervisors to reduce down-time of the plant and its associated equipment.
- Monitor plant performance, equipment conditions, and system parameters.
- Perform operational duties to assist shift supervisors, chiller operators & boiler attendants as assigned by the plant Engineer.
- Work under the approved safety standards of the Power Plant by using appropriate safety equipment. Follow the log-out, tag-out procedures and the work permit system.
- Assist in preparing an inventory of spare parts and consumables, updating the inventory to keep a safe stock of the plant equipment.
- Ensure good housekeeping of the Power Plant & waste heat recovery plant.
- Keep plant keys, plant manual & logbooks in safe custody.
- Carry out handing over and taking over of the shift as per laid down procedures.

- Minimum Diploma of Associate Engineer (3 years) in Mechanical/Electrical/Power Technology. B-Tech will be preferred.
