Job Responsibilities
- Formulate and lead the execution of an integrated supply chain strategy across procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory, and distribution to support operational and growth objectives.
- Drive vendor management and strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure optimal pricing, quality control, long-term partnerships, and risk mitigation across domestic and international supply networks.
- Implement and standardise ERP-driven supply chain systems, leverage data analytics, and establish performance metrics to enhance visibility, planning accuracy, and cross-unit coordination.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, contract governance, and logistics efficiency across all business units, including oversight of import/export procedures and liaison with government bodies where applicable.
- Serve as a key advisor to the CEO by providing insights on supply chain health, market disruptions, strategic procurement opportunities, and capital expenditure planning.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams to align supply chain strategies with cost control, profitability, and project delivery timelines.
- Build and mentor a high-performing, cross-functional supply chain leadership team, fostering a performance-driven culture and implementing structured succession planning.
- Lead initiatives in sustainability, green sourcing, and logistics optimisation in line with the organisation's ESG goals and global compliance benchmarks.
- Represent in high-level vendor negotiations, regulatory dialogues, and industry forums to enhance strategic partnerships and brand positioning.
- Oversee innovation projects in supply chain automation, digital tracking, and continuous process improvement to support future-readiness and scalable operations.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- CSCP/CPIM/or Six Sigma Black Belt Required.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a similar role at a conglomerate level.

- Lead and oversee the entire import function of the organisation, ensuring timely procurement and clearance of international raw materials, machinery, and finished goods.
- Develop and execute import strategies aligned with production schedules, inventory levels, and supplier commitments to avoid bottlenecks and delays
- Ensure complete compliance with all national and international import laws, including SROs, customs clearance regulations, HS codes, and applicable duties/tariffs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, clearing agents, shipping lines, and inspection agencies to ensure end-to-end control and reliability of import operations.
- Negotiate favourable contracts with overseas suppliers and logistics partners, covering payment terms (LCs, TTs), shipping terms (Incoterms), and freight arrangements.
- Monitor and manage the complete import cost structure, including duties, port charges, demurrage, freight, and currency fluctuations to minimise landed costs.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, finance, warehouse, and production teams to align shipment schedules with operational priorities.
- Implement tracking systems and dashboards for real-time visibility into import consignments, shipment milestones, and clearance timelines.
- Supervise import-related documentation, including IORC, PI, BL, CO, Form-E, insurance certificates, and ensure audit readiness and timely regulatory filing.
- Maintain strong communication with regulatory bodies such as Customs, SBP, FBR, and TDAP, and represent the company in resolving all import-related matters.
- Masters or Bachelor's Degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
Minimum 12+ years of progressive leadership experience.
- At least 5 years in a similar role at a group or conglomerate level.
