Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager / Commercial Manager to lead our growth strategy in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will have strong market knowledge, established industry relationships, and a proven ability to drive revenue and market share growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase sales and expand market presence in the FMCG sector
- Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to align commercial strategies and optimize operations
- Lead pricing, negotiation, and contract discussions with clients and partners
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify threats and opportunities
- Prepare and present business proposals, sales reports, and forecasts to senior management
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
- 5–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the FMCG industry
- Strong network and market knowledge of FMCG channels (retail, wholesale, modern trade)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
