Job Background/Context:
Controllers team needs support for daily report preparation while automation and streamlining are in progress.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare MAS610 Monthly, Quarterly & Annual returns, including adjustments and financial consolidation at period-end; analyze financial results and investigate variances such as accounting issues and economic events.
2. Monitor daily capital adequacy ratios, qualifying liabilities, asset maintenance ratios, and intra-group/intercompany ratios; prepare fortnightly submissions where applicable.
3. Assist in the submission of the Annual Investment Abroad Survey.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

• Basic accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in MS Excel (functions like Sumif, Pivots, VLOOKUP)
• Experience with MS Access (database management)

Position Requirements

• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits
• Ensure robust internal financial controls and accurate reporting systems
• Provide data-driven financial analysis to senior management
• Supervise, train, and guide the financial reporting team

Key Responsibilities:

• Review monthly accounts, forecasts, and statutory reports, providing analysis and presentations to senior management.
• Lead and supervise the finance team handling daily operations and provide insights through analytical reviews.
• Review monthly financial forecasts, budget vs. actual analysis, adjusting and closing entries.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance specific to the required division.
• Monitor and review inventory reconciliations, receivable balances, and sales/receivables reports.
• Supervise fixed asset and CWIP schedules, ensuring proper recording and reconciliation.
• Oversee ERP data integrity and lead the development of a divisional balance sheet structure.
• Support the preparation of SOPs and accounting manuals.
• Coordinate with departments to assess financial impacts of key decisions.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Education: ACCA/CA (Qualified/Finalist/Part Qualified), or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience: 5+ years in financial reporting or similar roles, ideally in the manufacturing or textile sector.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education and Experience

• Accounting certification (ACCA, CMA).
• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, management reporting, bank reconciliation, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
