The Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Database Developer with hands-on experience in SQL Server development and SSRS. The ideal candidate should be passionate about data architecture, reporting solutions, and optimizing database performance in a high-availability environment. The selected candidate will work out of the Contour Software Islamabad office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Build, deploy, and manage SSRS reports to support operational and analytical reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with application developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Optimize database performance by identifying slow-running queries and improving indexing strategies.
  • Implement and maintain ETL processes using T-SQL or SSIS as needed.
  • Participate in database version control, schema changes, and deployment processes.
  • Monitor and assess for schema drift with a view to reintegrating the changes to persist a single master schema
  • Document data models, report logic, stored procedures, and database architecture.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016+ preferred).

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven and tech-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in Pakistan. This role offers the opportunity to gain deep business and technical exposure while making a direct impact on key customer metrics, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.

Analyze customer experience (CXP) data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive process improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across customer touchpoints.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.

Provide data support for customer journey mapping, root cause analysis, and issue resolution to improve service quality and turnaround time.

Support A/B testing, customer segmentation, and targeted analysis to improve decision-making and optimize customer interactions.

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of CXP data by validating data sources and resolving discrepancies.

Prioritize and manage ad hoc analysis requests from business teams while ensuring timely delivery of insights.

Continuously explore new tools, methodologies, and best practices to improve data analysis efficiency and impact.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree program in STEM from a reputable institution.
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical or data driven role with hands-on SQL.
  • Expertise in MS Excel is a must.
  • Python knowledge is good to have but not essential.
  • You are comfortable using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, or PowerBI).
  • Highly organised and self-disciplined, able to work on multiple projects in a self-structured and well-prioritised way.
  • Data-driven & with a good attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving attitude is the cornerstone of your personality.
  • Manage projects end to end including stakeholder management.
