The Role:
The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing product support, technical troubleshooting, and technical know-how to customers at assigned customer sites. Completes all tasks with precision while ensuring safe practices are upheld.

Job Description:

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide technical support to internal employees, distributors, and customers under the supervisor’s guidance.
  • Perform troubleshooting support, on-call, or on-site as per request from the internal team or distributors. 
  • Analyze and process warranty claims raised by clients and distributors. 
  • Investigate the root cause of failure and take the lead to proceed with the warranty claim approval/rejection under the group's guidelines.
  • Establish warranty claims log monthly for reporting purposes. 
  • Build component failure compressive reports and quality issues updates. Visit customer sites to get required technical data for quality improvements and report as per need.
  • Always promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • Act as mentor and coach other junior team members by holding regular training sessions.

What we expect from you?

  • You hold a BSc. Mech/Electrical Engineer degree or a similar technical university degree.
  • At least 4-6 years of technical field service experience with strong mechanical, electrical, and analytical skills. 
  • Must have a positive attitude, be energetic and enthusiastic, and process a strong willingness to learn and a commitment to excellence. 
  • Willingness to travel across frequently.
  • A self-starter who can set priorities, demonstrate initiative, and have the ability to get the job done. Must be capable of following instructions and exercising good independent judgment.
