Sr Software Engineer - (Java Full Stack)

Full Job Description

Scope: Core responsibilities to include designing, coding and building(along with counterparts and Architects) the scalable SaaS platform for the customers Current technical environment:

• Software: Java, Springboot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth
• Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture
• Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD etc)
• Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS, Springboot, Gradle GIT, Ignite

What you’ll do:

• Develops quality software (including effective test code) according to clean code principles and Blue Yonder standards.
• Provides input for the prioritization of issues in the backlog and autonomously pulls issues or supports other team members as appropriate.
• Participates in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Translates business requirements to user stories and actively seeks feedback from the stakeholders.
• Takes the lead in the designs of individual stories and translates the design to subtasks.
• Considers aspects of information security while coding and reviewing other's code.
• Keeps up to date with technology and researches the latest trends in the industry.
• Actively shapes team vision and helps shape the team roadmap towards achieving it.

What we are looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in Java, Sprint boot, and Sprint reactive application development and microservices development
• Proficient in Design, Develop, Build, Automate, and Operate to Development / Staging and Production
• Experience in Snowflake Data Cloud along with Python data engineering concepts, and complex SQL scripting
• Hands-on experience with UI development in ReactJS
• Experience in Saas modernization and migration from monolithic to cloud
• Familiar with Scrum methodologies and working in agile
• Experience in Azure / Google / AWS cloud
• Strong knowledge of Azure container services / Kubernetes / Docker
