Sr Software Engineer - (React JS & Node JS)

Full Job Description

Overview:

• Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform, and the product teams.

Scope:

• Core responsibilities include development and design (along with counterparts and distinguished Architects) a ground up cloud native (we use Azure) SaaS product in with micro frontend.
• The team currently comprises of 50+ global associates across Europe, US, India and is expected to grow rapidly.

Our current technical environment:

• Software: Node JS, React JS, GitHub, Mongo Atlas, Azure
• Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture, Micro-frontend.
• Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD, ARM templates), Azure Functions, Logic Apps
• Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Elasticsearch, NoSQL, RDBMS

What you’ll do:

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
• Work with the team to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and deliver high-quality product.
• Develop high quality bug free code following design patterns, oops concepts.

What we are looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in TypeScript, React JS, Material UI, Design Patterns and Data structures.
• Working knowledge of Mircro-Frontends orchestration.
• Good to have working knowledge of Node.js.
• Hands-on design, coding & development
• Experience in writing unit tests for components.
• Experience with Front-end tools for testing and automation, like webdriver.io, cypress, Grunt, Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium.
• Experience working in an agile test-driven development with continuous integration.
• Good understanding of OO JavaScript and at least one (preferably React) Front-end framework.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript patterns and the challenges involved with creating maintainable JavaScript applications.
• Knowledge about APIs. Can follow technical design of RESTful services and integrate with other data providers.
• Demonstrable experience designing, building deploying and maintenance of enterprise cloud solutions in any of AWS, Azure and or GCP
• Working knowledge of databases
• Experience using Git for complex software systems with teams.
• Have a passion for learning new tools, languages, and frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills.
