Senior Software Engineer

Full Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer (Laravel + Vue.js) located in Lahore. As a Senior Software Engineer at Bookme.pk, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Laravel and Vue.js applications. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to create clean, maintainable, and scalable software solutions that meet business requirements and customer needs. You will also mentor and guide junior engineers and help maintain a positive and inclusive engineering culture within the team.



Qualifications


At least 5 years of proven experience in software development, particularly with Laravel and Vue.js
Strong experience in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
Experience with SQL and familiarity with database design principles
Experience working with REST APIs and integrating with third-party APIs
Experience with Git and version control systems
Excellent understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and algorithms
Experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring software engineers
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and critically
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
