POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads to support our sales team's efforts. You will play a critical role in the initial stages of the sales process by identifying potential clients, initiating contact, and nurturing relationships to create opportunities for our sales team. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to prospecting, and the ability to effectively manage a high volume of outbound activities.
KEY TASK & RESPONSIBILITY
Lead Generation: Utilize Apollo, HubSpot, and Sales Navigator to diversify lead acquisition channels effectively.
Inbound Leads: Reach out to marketing qualified leads and arrange meetings with them.
Qualification: Conduct thorough qualification of leads to determine their fit for our products/services based on established criteria.
Outreach: Initiate contact with leads via phone, email, and other communication channels to introduce our company and assess their needs and pain points.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with prospects through consistent follow-up and engagement to move them through the sales funnel.
Cold Calling: Proficient in the art of cold calling, adept at initiating and refining relationships through effective communication strategies over the phone.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads and provide ongoing support throughout the sales process.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all activities and interactions in the CRM system, and provide regular reports on lead generation and qualification metrics.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Minimum Experience:
1 - 2 years of Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B environment.
Job Specific Skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to achieving targets and overcoming challenges.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
