Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) - Trade to lead our Client's trade sales team. The RSM - Trade will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of trade sales representatives, and developing strategies to expand our market share within the trade segment. This position will report to the Director of Sales and will play a pivotal role in achieving our sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership:
· Develop and execute the trade sales strategy in alignment with overall company goals.
· Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of trade sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
2. Market Expansion:
· Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company's presence within the trade market segment.
· Build and nurture strong relationships with key trade customers and partners.
3. Sales Growth:
· Drive revenue growth by promoting our products and services to trade customers, including contractors, retailers, and distributors.
· Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and enhancements.
4. Sales Planning and Forecasting:
· Develop and implement annual and quarterly sales plans and budgets.
· Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
5. Training and Development:
· Conduct training sessions to enhance the product knowledge and sales skills of the trade sales team.
· Ensure that the team stays updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
6. Customer Satisfaction:
· Collaborate with the customer service and support teams to address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
· Monitor customer satisfaction and take proactive measures to improve customer loyalty.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in trade sales management, preferably in the paint industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Powerpoint)
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
- Valid driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
