The Aga Khan University Hospital in addition to its five Hospitals creates access through its Outreach Services which include Clinical Laboratories, Outpatient Medical Centers, Pharmacy services, Home Health, and other services. Outreach Services are designed to provide primary to secondary healthcare services to patients near their homes and are present in several cities across Pakistan.Physiotherapy and rehabilitation department at AKUH provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services to assist adults and children in improving their physical and neurological disabilities. Psychological, social and vocational interventions are some of the modalities that are employed in order to restore physical functions, minimize pain and disability of the patients.Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:assess the patients, develop and deliver the individual physiotherapy treatment planformulate treatment / exercise plans for patients enabling them to achieve treatment goalsdocumenting patient assessment and progress notes according to the SOAP formateducate and advise patients and their family about how to prevent and / or improve conditionresponsible for the safe and competent use of physiotherapy equipment and patients’ use of appliances and aideskeep up-to-date with the relevant new techniques and technologies available for treating patients.Requirements

You should have:Doctor of Physical Therapy or Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapycompleted traineeship or have at least one year of relevant experience from a reputable healthcare organizationexcellent ability to perform physiotherapy procedures and operate relevant equipmentability to effectively work independently as well in teamsexcellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skillswillingness to work in shiftsTo Apply
