Manager - Aviation Stop Planning Web Business

Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to start and lead our aviation stop planning (ASP) web business. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operation and driving the business to profitability. The ASP business will aggregate fuel prices and FBO handling fees into a web based platform that can find the best routes and fuel stops to globally plan long distance flights for private aircraft.

• Define the software infrastructure and user experience necessary to operate the business.
• Manage a small software team to develop the infrastructure.
• Determine the best revenue model for the business, plan budgets, and drive the business to profitability.
• Lead a marketing and sales effort including a team to recruit and manage FBOs and fuel providers across 20,000 airports globally.

• Bachelor's degree in either software development, IT, or business administration.
• Strong understanding of databases and algorithms.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate team members.
• In-depth knowledge of web-based technologies and software development project management.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
