Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 7 years of experience as an Inside Sales particularly in Sales Strategy Development, Sales Process Optimization, Lead Generation and Email Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective email marketing strategies to generate potential opportunities and drive sales growth.
- Identify target prospects and build email lists to reach out to potential customers.
- Create compelling email content and marketing materials to engage prospects and promote our services.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to tailor email campaigns accordingly.
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the sales team to follow up on leads, schedule appointments, and facilitate the sales process.
- Provide timely reports on email campaign performance, lead conversion rates, and sales pipeline status.
- Lead Generation experience in the US and UK/European region is a must. Experience in the APAC and Middle East would be an added advantage.
- Lead and mentor the outbound lead generation team, driving them to deliver qualified sales meetings for our business teams in different geographic locations.
- Utilize data to set and surpass KPIs for both individuals and the team.
- Train new SDRs to expand our team effectively.
- Develop scalable lead generation strategies aligned with our growing team.
- Assess organizational needs and define necessary resources and communication channels for success.
- Identify priorities and quick wins to enhance demand generation efforts for the upcoming quarter.
- Create a replicable approach to high-volume outreach while maintaining our consultative sales style.
- Support the creation of sales collateral, copy, and enablement materials to optimize SDRs' productivity.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in inside sales, preferably in a technology or software industry.
- Strong understanding of email marketing principles and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive email messages.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Prior experience in lead generation, prospecting, or cold emailing
- Experience carrying out email marketing campaigns in custom software services/staff augmentation and managed services space to generation potential leads.
- 5+ years of management experience with SDRs in high-growth tech environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams to meet quotas, either in a managerial or individual contributor role.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or sales development; startup or trained sales experience is advantageous.
