Full Job Description

- Assist in the establishment and ensure compliance of operational units short-term and long-term goals with overall corporate objectives.- Plan, staff, and supervise all assigned work unit activities through subordinate managers to ensure a cohesive operational unit.- Provide support to any number of projects from an operational, financial and resource standpoint.- Provide advice, guidance, and direction to subordinate executives and managers toward their professional development.- Monitoring availability and flow of personnel as well as hiring, motivating and assigning teams to projects.- Coordinate and confer with professional staff to resolve operating problems and difficulties, and authorize department operational procedures within corporate framework. Serves as management team member.- In conjunction with the project managers and superintendents, responsible for maintaining good working relationships and promoting good public relations with the staff and the community.- Responsible for the future outlook for area- Responsible for maintaining office records- Preparation of statements of donation, office expenditures and management of budgets- Perform additional assignments per supervisors direction

Job Specification

- The ability and confidence to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing- Possess good interpersonal skills, e.g. tact, sensitivity, ability to listen, to be assertive at times.- Ability to work to deadlines and targets can prioritise tasks under pressure.- The ability to work quickly, flexibly, effectively and positively in response to requests made at short notice.- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable with juggling a range of tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment- Pro-active, ability to work under own initiative without direction- The ability to prioritise and organise own workload in an effective and accurate manner, whilst working within broad guidelines.- Reliable and trustworthy- Good organisational skills and able to pay attention to detail- Minimum of three years experience of working in an office environment.- The ability to contribute to and work effectively within a team environment.- Excellent IT skills i.e. competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications especially Word and Excel.- Willing to take on additional tasks as required and learn new skills- Willingness and ability to undertake training needed in order to fulfil the changing requirements of the job.- Ability to be discrete and maintain high levels of confidentiality
