Full Job Description

WeareseekingadedicatedFinanceOfficertojoinourfinanceteam.TheFinanceOfficerwillplay a  pivotal role  inmanagingfinancialtransactions,maintainingaccuraterecords,andensuringcompliance withfinancialpoliciesandregulations.Theidealcandidateshouldhaveastrongattentiontodetail, excellentorganizationalskills,andasolidunderstandingoffinancialprinciples.

Responsibilities:
  • Processandrecordfinancialtransactions,includingaccountspayableandaccountsreceivable entries.
  • Managingthebudget,preparefinancialreports,andensurethatallfinancialtransactionsare conductedlegallyandethically.
  • Prepareandverifyfinancialdocumentssuchasinvoices,bills,andreceipts.
  • Assistinthepreparationoffinancialreports,budgets,andforecasts.
  • Monitorandtrackexpenses,highlightingdiscrepanciesandrecommendingcost-saving measures.
  • Ensurecompliancewithfinancialregulationsandcompanypolicies.
  • Respondtofinancialinquiriesandprovideinformationtointernalandexternalstakeholders.
  • Mediating tax refunds and ensuring transparency in the allocation for valid claims.
  • Following up on outstanding refunds, false claims, and unclaimed refunds.
  • Providing auditors with all records, documents, and files about VAT returns, VAT settlements, and transactional data.
  • Collaboratewithcross-functionalteamstoensurefinancialdataaccuracyandconsistency.
  • Stayupdatedonfinancialregulations,accountingprinciples,andbestpractices.
  • Workcloselywithotherdepartments,suchasprocurement,sales,oroperations,togather financialinformation,supportfinancialdecision-making,andprovidefinancialinsights. Develop effectivecommunicationandcollaborationskills.
  • Prepare various monthly reports to analyse business financial health, including sales reports, profit and loss statements, general ledger entries, goods received notes, and goods issued notes.
QualificationandExperience:
  • BComand1to2yearsofexperienceinfinancialroles,withapreferenceforexperienceinaccountingor finance.
Skills Required:
  • Solidunderstandingoffinancialprinciples,accountingconcepts,andfinancialreporting standards.
  • ProficiencyinusingfinancialsoftwareandMicrosoftOfficeapplications,particularlyExcel.
  • Effectivecommunicationskills,bothwrittenandverbal.
  • Abilitytoworkindependentlyandcollaborativelyinateam.
  • Highlevelofintegrityandcommitmenttomaintainingconfidentiality.
  • Knowledgeofrelevantfinancialregulationsandcompliancerequirementsisaplus.
