Job DescriptionPrepare and post receipts, deposits, purchase orders, invoices, refunds, and other standard bookkeeping tasksManage accounts receivable and accounts payableReview and process reimbursementsPrepare, track, and reconcile ledgers and budgetsPrepare and submit payrollCreate financial and inventory reportsPrepare and file company tax documents
Identify and correct miscalculations and financial discrepanciesRun and update databasesDevelop and streamline operational efficienciesContact delinquent accountsStay current with all regulations, requirements, and lawsJob Specification:Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or similarProven work experience as a finance administrator or similarPractical experience with accounting software (such as QuickBooks), spreadsheets (such as MS Excel), and databases (such as MS Access)Able to quickly learn and adapt to new software and processesA solid understanding of bookkeeping procedures including crediting and debiting appropriate accounts, posting entries to ledger accounts, and reconciling accountsEffective written and verbal communication skillsWorks well in a team environment and with upper managementHigh level of critical thinking and logical analysisGood organizational and time management skillsAble to work well under pressure and meet all deadlinesAlways keeps the highest standards of compliance and confidentiality.
